WHAT IS GUM-GUM?
Gum-Gum Pins is an online business created to sell our art designs as pins, bookmarks, keychains, etc. We draw designs to capture the essence of the entertainment industry. We cover anime, videogames, bands, movies, and tv characters.

WHO ARE THE CREATORS/ARTISTS?
Yes, two of us run this business. Chris and Amy. A brother and sister tag-team. We both have pages on deviantart (links to the right) displaying our art and various other things.

WHAT DOES GUM-GUM MEAN?
The name was inspired by the anime series "One Piece" and our love for the Jet Grind Radio cutie "Gum" but it then took on a new meaning with "Gouin. United. Marketing." after Amy no longer wanted a generally pointless name. Using our last name really seems to make more sense.

WHAT MADE YOU GET THIS STARTED?
After both drawing anime for so long and doing commission work we both needed a new way to get our art out there for the world to enjoy and thus a "sticker" site was born. It took us roughly 3 years to finally get everything drawn and ready. We made our deadline based on a near by anime convention and just barely made the date. We sold quite a bit of stickers there and got a great response. This made us realize that we really have something good going on here. In 2006 we then decided to take on Pins. Due to them being more versatile, and being all the rage amongst the kids nowadays. In 2007 we added bookmarks and prints to our tables. In 2009 we added keychains. We also chose to remove stickers from our site and table, due to their being a much higher demand for our other products. In the future, we'd love to move onto t-shirts and other merchandise. But we have no current plans to branch out yet.

What are the prints and bookmarks made of?
Both are printed on high quality photo paper.

What are the keychains made of?

What are the pins made of?
Each pin is first printed on paper; then created in our lovely pin making press.

How do the pins fasten in the back?

How big are your products?
Pins are all 1-Ľ inches in diameter.
Bookmarks are 2x6
Prints are 4x6, and sometimes 5x7

Where are you shipping from?
We are located in Ontario, Canada.

Where can you ship to?
We’ll ship to ANYWHERE in the world. Please be aware that shipping rates will vary from country to country.

What are the shipping costs?
This will be figured out after we receive your order and we'll e-mail the final total to you. Shipping costs depend on where you're from, how much you're buying, and they differ if you’re ordering a lightweight item such as bookmarks or heavier items like pins & keychains.
Canada and USA: $2 and up
International: $5 and up

How long does it take to receive an order?
Once your payment is received please allow 2-3 days for us to make your order. If you live in Canada or the USA you should receive your order within 1-3 weeks. For international orders, it will probably take about 3-4 weeks. We are located in Canada so you should get a better idea from that.

Can you draw my original character?
Yes we can. An additional $20 will be charged on top of the product price if we are drawing your original character. That is because it is an exclusive design which we will not be able to use on the website. However, you will get the final image e-mailed to you in a large format for you to print off, use as a wallpaper etc.

Can you draw a character from this series/that game/ that show/that band?
Of course we can. Just send us an e-mail @ gumgumpins@hotmail.com Be sure to specify the name of the character, what they're from, etc. If you feel the need to provide some links to photos of the actual character, go ahead and do so. It will be much appreciated.

I requested a design but it’s not on the site…WHY!?
Please understand that we have literally received hundreds of requests. We are only two people here… not machines. Be patient. We’ve received your requests and we’ll eventually get to each and every one.

Can I use any of the images on your site?
Simply put.. no you can not. No exceptions. This means, no avatars, signatures, msn display pics, facebook images, neo-pets fiddle faddle, printing them out and giving them to your friend Sally. People.. Just don't use the images! Thank you. We worked very hard on these.

Can I send you a photo of your stickers/pins in use?
Of course you can!! Send the pictures to gumgumpins@hotmail.com and we’ll feature them on our Gum-Gum Facebook group!
